Hi all,
I've been attempting to do some HCal MIP Calibrations with the sample production here:
/gpfs/mnt/gpfs01/star/pwg_tasks/FwdCalib/PROD/forwardCrossSection_2022
I've had a few issues
1)
Of the 3 productions that I've looked at, there are issues with the
clusters for the ECal and HCal. For 04082025, there are no clusters in
the pico production. For the 13082025 and 27082025 productions, there
are clusters. I'm not sure yet if this is a StFcsClusterMaker issue, I'm
investigating now if this is the same on the hit level.
2)
For the clusters that I do get, it seems that there is a cluster energy
threshold of 1 GeV for both the HCal and ECal, as seen below:

For
my MIP analysis, I need to set it to be lower. Is there a way I could
use the BFC so that I can run all the makers I need for my analysis on
these files? I know it was possible to run the afterburner on the MuDsts, but I don't
remember if we could with the PicoDsts.
Regards,
Kumar
