Dear Sooraj,

Thank you for addressing my comments.
Please find below my additional comment and reply to your questions.
I sign off with this minor implementation.

Slide13- “intranet” -> intra-jet

what do you mean by production mechanism of mesons?
Production mechanism in pp vs AuAu.

-------- I saw the improvement of statistics for p+p being mentioned
in Diptanil's QM talk, so added. I think even without HFT, with the
higher statistics, we can improve on the existing p+p measurements
Yes, we can do it without HFT in pp.

------- How much lower in pT do you expect to go with D0 tagged jets?
Currently its 5 GeV/c, isnt it the lowest jet pT we go in STAR, other
than for the semi-inclusive measurements perhaps?
Yes, but we can also lower D0 Pt below 5 GeV/c inside a jet.
That is what our outlook was ,AFAIK.

Best of luck for your presentation.

Regards,
Nihar

Dear Nihar,
Thanks for the review and the helpful comments and suggestions. I
have implemented them in the new version. Please see. Please also find
some responses below

//Slide#2_ "microscopic mechanism jet suppression in QGP" -> not clear
what is
microscopic mechanism? please rephrase it.//
----- Done

//_ "Jet substructure dependence of suppression " -> "Modification of
jet
substructure"//
------ This was following the BUR proposal that jet substructure can
be used for triggering and thus study the modification for different
kind of jets. I havent changed, but let me know if the phrasing is
good

//Slide#10:
You could also mention in Isobar analysis "high pT charged particles
with pT > 5.1"//
------- Done

//slide#11:
_I think this IAA plot is good to show.
_But, main result in this analysis is "medium-induced Intra-jet
Broadening"
And this is our first clear observation in STAR (Please highlight this

result).
You could consider to add that Ratio plot in another slide or merge
these two results in one slide.
And please mention in your summary slide#19.
Please have a look at slide#17.

------ I have added the ratio plot as a separate slide, please see

//Slide#12:
In Title, please remove "intrajet broadening and Acoplanarity" ->
"Medium-induced jet Acoplanarity"
Because Intrajet broadening and acoplanarity are two physics and you
are
showing latter.//
------- I had kept the same title for all the three slides as they are
related physics

//Slide#13:
_ "Study HF jets to better understand the mechanism of redistribution"

->
"Study HF mesons in jets are sensitive to the production mechanism of
mesons, energy loss and diffusion of heavy flavor quarks in QGP."
_ "D0 jets " —> please use either "D0 within jet" or "D0+jet"
_ "higher statistics p+p dataset in 2024 " I would not mention this
because we don't have HFT for future runs.
_ You can mention that we are working on to lower the D0 pT range.//
-------- I was focussing here only on the broadening part and what HF
jets can provide in that regard. I understand the general motivation,
but would prefer to keep it brief here. I have added a back slide for
the Rcp. Also, what do you mean by production mechanism of mesons?
-------- I saw the improvement of statistics for p+p being mentioned

kinematic coverage:

------- Thanks for the suggestion, added

thanks
