Hello Sooraj and Yi,

Thanks for your useful comments, I upload a new version v2 on drupal.

Based on Sooraj's comments, in addition to the modified text,
I rewrite sec 2
I adjust the order of figures and corresponding discussions in sec 3.2, now they follow pT,pT^2, and mass distribution.

Based on Yi's comments, in addition to the modified text,
I think dielectron is better, thank you! And I changed dimuon to mu+ mu-, except in the title and dimuon trigger.
- L31: In this proceeding Sorry, I didn't catch your meaning.
L76, since I adjust the order, so the references are still in the same position.

Best,
Ziyang

Hi Ziyang,

Thanks a lot for the nice proceedings. I have some minor comments for
your consideration.
- General: the order of you references are strange, it starts with
[11, 12] in L16
dielectron or di-electron, you have to pick one and
make it consistent over the whole article (many places).
change dimuon to mu+ mu- ?
- L10: implication is --> implications are
- L31: In this proceeding
- L33: pT and pT^2 --> pT, and pT^2
- L40: [10], (2) --> [10]; (2)
- L42: add a space in front of [9]
- L43: I would suggest to rewrite this sentence to something like
(Just for your consideration....): "The combinatorial background is
estimated using the unlike-sign distribution from mixed-events.
However, in the low mass regions, since the correlated backgrounds are
not negligible and can not be reproduced by the mixed-event method,
the dimuon like-sign distributio from the same-events is used to
remove the backgrounds."
- Eq(1): add a comma in the end,
- L56: Where --> where
- L76: Put references for EPA-QED and STARlight here, you can remove
the ones in L80.

Cheers,
Yi

Hello Nihar,

Thanks for your nice comments, I upload a new version. Please have a

look.
By the way, I can only edit the file in this link:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/node/61422

This proceeding is limited in 6 pages, now it is over the limit a
bit. I
think I could reduce the words after other comments.

L13:add "such as the Chiral Magnetic Effect (CME), anisotropic
charmonium production, spin-charge correlation for final-state
hadrons,
and so on."
L14:rephrased: "However, there is a lack of experimental
measurements of
the proprieties of the EM fields."
L27: add "In total, an integrated luminosity of 14.2 $\rm nb^{-1}$
was
sampled by the dimuon trigger." (and the integrated luminosity of MB

trigger used in dimuon analysis is 0.2 nb^{-1}, I'm not sure if it
is
also needed to list here)
L33: rephrased: "The low mass di-muon (0.4<$\rm M_{\mu\mu$<0.64
GeV/$c^{2}$) and the J/$\psi$ (2.9<$\rm M_{\mu\mu$<3.2 GeV/$c^{2}$)
production are analysed separately."
