Hi Priyanka,
Thanks a lot for the nice abstract. I don't have any comments on it.
Cheers,
Yi

Thanks for your feedback. I have implemented your comments and uploaded the updated version here https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/HP2023_abstract_Priyanka.pdfI agree with your suggestion that we need some suitable model calculation to check the sensitivity of interaction strength with these femtoscopic correlations. Unfortunately, there's no such existing model. We can look into this in the future.

A few minor commentsIs the font size different for part of first line?L8: in Au+Au collisionsL8: using data taken
Regarding the above discussion, with the sensitivity to the emission region or the region of homogeneity, its not clear how non-identified correlations with D0 where the mass is much different is helpful. On the other hand, these femtoscopic correlations should be sensitive to the interaction strengths between D0-hadrons and potentially charm and light partons. The sensitivity to screening length is also plausible then. It would be good if there are some model calculations that look into sensitivity to the interaction strengths with these femtoscopic correlations. If there are such studies existing, could be referenced in the abstract

Thank you for implementing my comments and correcting me.

Yes, you are correct. Never mind to that.
I have a few additional comment on your updated abstract. With
implementing these I sign off.
1) "Due to large mass, the charm quarks are produced early in the
relativistic heavy-ion reactions…"
It doesn't sound good. (because Charm quarks are produced early in the
collision "not" because they are heavy but they come mainly from hard
scattering)
"The heavy quarks—-like charm quarks—-are produced early in the
relativistic heavy-ion collisions…"
How about this?
2) "…in the high-statistics Au-Au collision (run 2014) at √sNN =200 GeV
at the STAR experiment." -> "...in Au-Au collisions at sqrt(sNN)=200 GeV
data taken in the year 2014." (high-statistics not required.)
3) "reconstructed at via the K--π+ decays using topological
reconstruction enabled by the excellent…
" -> "reconstructed via the K^{-}- π+ decay channel using topological
criteria enabled by the excellent…"
(Just to avoid "reconstructed" and "reconstruction" in the same
sentence)
4) "Hadrons are selected and identified…" -> "Hadrons are
identified…using Time-of-Flight and time projection chamber detectors."
Cheers
Nihar
