Hello Tanmay,

Please find my comments on your preliminary request.

General comments:

Can you please add three plots showing systematic variations from different sources for pTD, LeSub, and g for 20-60 GeV/c cases? In support of your table on slide#9.

Can you please follow the guidance 1 to 7 from this link for your all preliminary plots?
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/pwg/common/Preliminary-figures

Particularly, X-,Y- axies title, label, and tick mark need some work on increasing size.
And Legend should overlap with the data for example "(year 2012)" on g plot.

Can you please add the expression of pTD, LeSub, and g in one of your slides?

SLide:10
1) "This hints towards need to tune PDFs in PYTHIA to produce more quark jets "

I think we can't tune PYTHIA to produce more quark jet. What we can tune is the PDF/FF/UE threshold, etc?
Have you checked the q/(g+q) fraction in this sample from these two PYTHIA versions in this kinematic range at RHIC? And how much individual q and g jet contribute to these observables?
this is probably needed for your HP presentation to make a physics motivation also.

2) "Data closer to PYTHIA8 at higher girths (less collimation) and closer to PYTHIA6 at lower girths (more collimation)"
Both quantitatively and qualitatively, it is not correct. Is not that?
Except at the peak of the g-distribution.

3) Remember, we have published our jet substructure observables with SoftDrop grooming that all PYTHIA versions are in agreement with the data in some extent.
Probably, that we can make a case here that in these observables we don't remove Soft-collinear contributions.
So these soft-collinear contribution is sensitive to these observables while comparing to the models.
(You can think on it, and please comment what do you think?)

SLide-11:
Again, you can make a case here that "Soft-collinear contribution are not sensitive to LeSub observable as we don't see any difference between data and PYTHIA versions"
(Let's discuss on this point)

SLide-12
This plot needs some work, it is very noisy. Can you please work on guidance:1 to 7 from the above link?

Cheers
Nihar
