Hi Xin, Nihar,
Thanks for asking the question. We don't have any model yet to calculate the charm screening length from the source size information. This is an argument from the point of view that for smaller source size, the interaction between
charm and light quarks are strong. That's why we mentioned that the QGP and hadronic phase effects are unknown which essentially should affect the screening length of the charm quark throughout the evolution.
