Hello HP-working group,

I intend to submit an abstract for QM 2023.

The title is "Energy dependence of J/u production in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 14.6,19.6 and 27$ GeV with the STAR detector."

abstract:
Measurement of heavy quarkonium in heavy-ion collisions plays a crucial role in studying the properties of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP). The dissociation of J/$\psi$ caused by the color screening effect, was proposed as a direct signature of the QGP formation. However, the recombination effect of uncorrelated charm-anticharm($c \bar c$) pairs is suggested to be larger at LHC and top RHIC energies, which add additional complications to the interpretation of the observed J/$\psi$ suppression. Meanwhile. the regeneration effect is expected to be smaller at lower collision energies. Therefore, the high statistics data accumulated in STAR Beam Energy Scan Phase II (BESII) provide a great opportunity to study the QGP properties with J/$\psi$.
In this talk, we report the J/$\psi$ measurements in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\ NN}}$ = 14.6,19.6 and 27 GeV by using the BESII data with the STAR experiment. The yields and nuclear modification factors ($R_{AA}$) are presented as a function of centrality transverse momentum. Energy dependence of J/$\psi$ $R_{AA}$ will be discussed together with model comparisons.

Best,
Wei

Hello HP,

we would like to present our results of the inclusive jet production in 2014 Au+Au.
We plan to show the unfolded spectra and RCP. We also hope to present the inclusive jet RAA, but since this requires cooperation with the p+p analyzers, we will probably not promise it explicitly in the abstract.
The proposed title is:

Measurement of inclusive jet production in Au+Au collisions at $s_{NN}$ = 200 GeV at STAR.

Thanks,
Robert
