Hi Rosi,

You are right, we don't have to decide the speaker now.
If the PAs cannot decide now, just put all the names on the abstract and submit it to Drupal (doesn't matter who submitted it).
Then, the speaker will be decided later.

Cheers,
Yi

Hi All,
Since Helen has brought it up, another aspect I'm curious about is that it seems you want us to decide on a speaker now.  I had thought that abstracts were going to be somewhat globally submitted as from the STAR collaboration, so that we can decide the speakers a little closer to the conference?  I do think it makes sense to wait, since we don't know which abstracts will be accepted/merged by the conference, so I don't see that we gain anything by deciding speakers right now, and there is always a little bit of angst in these decisions.

Cheers,
Rosi

Hi Nihar, Barbara, Yi,

I gather from my group members that you are sending out suggestions to merge abstracts prior to the discussion tomorrow. Can you circulate what merges you are suggesting across the whole PWG? It would be useful to see and discuss across the whole PWG what abstract have been submitted and therefore what are the more “obvious” merges and which we can as a PWG work on to make as compelling as possible as stand alone abstracts. Right now I don’t have a clear view of what the HP contribution to QM is looking like.
