Hello Robert and Yang,
Please find my 1st version of comments on your nice abstract below.
Line3: "… by the STAR experiment" -> "… at STAR"
LIne8: "…mid-rapidity, in order to probe the interplay between …" -> "…mid-rapidity. These measurements probe the interplay between…" Or something similar to break this long statement.
Line7: "… semi-inclusive hadron-jet (h+jet) correlations …" (for later use)
LIne12: The semi-inclusive jet… -> The semi-inclusive h+jet …
Line13: "to remove uncorrelated combinatorial background." -> "to mitigate uncorrelated background in present heavy-ion collisions."
Line13-14: "The reported distributions are fully corrected for any remaining background fluctuations and detector effects using unfolding techniques." -> "The reported jet distributions are fully corrected for the heavy-ion background fluctuations and the detector effects using the unfolding techniques.
Line16-20:" The high…with the charged particle jets." -> "The inclusive full jet reconstruction is carried out up to jet $p_{T,jet}$ ~ 50 GeV/c with resolution parameter R=0.2-0.4 using Au+Au collisions data taken in 2014. This extends the kinematic range significantly compared with the previous charged particle jet measurement."
[high-statiscs no needed to mention here; BEMC trigger selection not needed in this abstract, already a lot of info]
L20-21: "…in p+p collisions, and the medium-induced …" -> "…in p+p collisions." [Discussion on medium induced modification can be combined with h_jet next]
L21-22:"Utilizing the large-statistics isobar dataset, …" -> In addition, the suppression of recoil charged jets yield in central to peripheral isobar collisions are discussed with charged hadron trigger pT between 7 to 25 GeV/c and R=0.2-0.5."
L24-26: As per Yang's last QM status discussion, there was no mention of jet acoplanarity measurement. If that is the case, please drop this sentence.
Include one sentence before L24. "The medium-induced modification of the inclusive jet in central Au+Au collisions and semi-inclusive h+jet in central isobar collisions are discussed."
L27-28: "…jet quenching effects …" -> "…jet-medium interaction…"
