Hi Nihar, Isaac, Yi

While Dave and Veronica will, of course, continue to me changes based on your feedback, can you also please start the GPC formation process, this also takes some time? Your comments were all useful, but were not suggesting substantial changes to the physics message or key sections of the paper. We should really try to get this paper submitted by QM. Its tight but still just about possible if everyone pushes. Now PHENIX have put their competing paper on the arXiv I think its critical STAR puts our results out there too since there is some tension in the interpretation of the results. If our results aren’t submitted we know from past experience with the vn results that the field will predominantly only discuss PHENIX results at QM because they are the only “final” ones, and it would be a shame to skip the discussion of all the evidence for/against E_Loss in the QGP in pA collisions.

Hello David and Veronica,

Thank you for your reply and preparing new draft.
I will go through these materials and send my response by end of this week.

Cheers

Hi Nihar, Isaac, all,
Thank you for the details and thoughtful feedback on the proposed
paper "Event activity correlations and jet measurements in p+Au
collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV". The new draft [1] of the paper and AN
[2] (which non-broken pdf exported images) are uploaded on the paper
website here [3].
Details marking how we addressed each comment is listed here for
Nihar's email [4]and here for Issac's email [5]. We recommend it's
promotion to GPC formation,
Best regards,
David and Veronica
