Hi Priyanka,
one correction, I misread your purity plot.
The overlap region is closer to momentum of 0.9 GeV/c. But when I look at fits from Daniel's presentation they don't seem to be the best in some bins, I would expect some systematics there.
E.g. 1-1.1 p bin has very low purity while 0.9-1 bin has purity almost 100%. When I look at the fit in 0.9-1 GeV, the pion gaussian is too wide which probably causes the amplitude to be lower but I guess make the Kaon purity overestimated. Would be good to see all the fits and the widths and means from the fits of each particle species as a function of p.
