Hello Dandan,

Please find my comments on your nice presentation.

Slide6:
_ "colour-singlet vs colour-octet vs gluon fragmentation" -> Provide reference
_ πƒπ’π«πžπœππŸ”πŸŽ% + 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 -> "feed" make it roman
_ Non-prompt: b hadron decay -> Give an example
_…in 200 GeV pp collisions. -> … in pp collisions at \sqrt(s) = 200 GeV

Slide7:
_Left fig and texts on this slide are not making any context here. Could you please add some text on it?
_ In box "We estimate the expected 𝐽/πœ“ polarization at small 𝑝𝑇, and find that it translates into the asymmetry…" -> It doesn't mention at what collision energy? And also it is not clear what exactly you want to convey.

Slide9
_ Mention what is "PID (1/𝛽)" and "PID (𝐸 /p)"? Not clear

Slide11:
_Lower panel Y-axis title "# of J/psi (cor)" -> Please mention it explicitly what you are plotting along X-axis

Slide12:
_What are I_q, I_f, and I_inv along Y-axis? Mention it as "Ξ»" [Same for slide14[

Slide13:
_"New results is the most accurate and highest statistical measurement" -> Remove this.
_ Last bullet, "…consistent with pp results within uncertaintie" -> Ξ»_theta and Ξ»_phi in Isobar and pp collisions are consistent with zero within uncertainties

Slide18:
_"significance of 3.6 𝝈" -> you have not discussed this in your "preliminary request" , Please update it/
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Preliminary_figures_request_1.pdf
But Could you prove the numbers where do you get 3.6 sigma? Just to make sure.

Slide19:
"The 𝐽/πœ“ 𝜌00 is measured to be less than 1/3 in isobar data at STAR" -> Remove this. Sounds strong statement.
Because at this level, we can just quote "significance of 3.6 sigma" as you mentioned in Slide18. I think That is sufficient.
We need to discuss a few things after the conference like background subtraction, Fitting parameter extraction, etc in details.

I would suggest remove Slide19. Not required.

Slide20:
_"…very different collision energies and different rapidity" -> add also different collision systems (Isobar vs PbPb)

Slide21:
_2nd subbullet "The 𝐽/πœ“ 𝜌00 is measured to be less than 1/3 in isobar data at STAR" -> Remove it, You already mentioned it in 1st subbullet
_3rd sub-bullet: "…despite of very different collision energies and different rapidity" -> see comment on Slide20

Cheers
Nihar

Hi Nihar, Yi and Isaac

Here are my slides at the SPIN 2023 conference. This is a new version
with an improvement.
I would be grateful if you could address it. Because the meeting
started on the 25th.
Please find the new version in the link:

Thanks again!

Best,
Dandan
