Hi Yuan,

Sorry for my delay in giving you some feedback. With these comments
implemented, I sign off.

Thanks,
Isaac

29. "a more refined measurement" is not very descriptive. It would be great
if you could mention what is actually different between a measurement of RAA
and a measurement of the z of the D0. For example, with the D0-jet
measurements the reconstructed jet helps you recover some of the lost energy
of the quark. Or whatever you see as a potential motivation.

30.
"where \hat{p}_{T,jet} projects the hadron transverse momentum onto
the jet axis". This doesn't quite make sense to me as written. Can you check
it and possibly revise?
I would consider moving the zjet definition to the section where you
discuss the D0-jet results. This is kind of distracting from the exposition
of the measurement, and you already need to define DeltaR there anyway, so
might as well do both of them at once. Here you could just talk about the
fragmentation function, and later on can connect that to the z once you've
defined it.

59. This is a bit of an odd way to start this paragraph. This is the first
time you're mentioning mT here. It would be good to back up a step and say
instead ~"we do a fit to the mT spectra in isobar collisions to extract an
effective temperature, Teff, from the inverse slope parameter." Then you can
come back to say "The range on this fit... [3]." Then the third sentence can
describe the figure. [By the way, I'm sure that most people reading these
proceedings will know what mT is, but it isn't a bad idea to quickly give the
definition since it doesn't take up too much space].

63. "may acquire less collective behavior than light hadrons"?

65. "systematically dependent" -> "dependent on the system size"?

89. This statement about MPI could be elaborated on. In Neil's talk, he
mentions that the authors claim that due to the low pT threshold of the D0,
MPI may become relevant, which you could mention here. Then it makes a bit
more sense to the reader why you're specifying that secondary partonic
interactions are not included in the model comparison. I think it would also
be better to mention the "MPI = off" aspect when you first introduce the
model. E.g. "The LIDO model [10]...in central 0-10% collisions. This may be
due to the low D0 pT threshold, which may lead to an important contribution
from MPI which are not included in this model." or similar. Speaking of the
model, I think you also have space in the Summary to include a statement
about the model agreement/disagreement.

Fig. 3 Since you do currently have a bit of space, it would be great if you
could make these panels a bit bigger if at all possible.
