Dear Yi, and Nihar,

Hi Yi,

I've added a reference to the J/\psi polarization in p+p collisions at LHC energy in lines 22-23. The results of Pb+Pb collisions in the LHC energy are not discussed here because this paragraph mainly focuses on the J/\psi production mechanism and polarization in p+p collisions. Perhaps the results of Pb+Pb collisions should be included in the next paragraph, you can find it in lines 29-30. What is your opinion on the matter?

Thank you very much for your nice comment.

Hi Nihar,
Your comments:
1: “L79: "where ∗ is the polar angle between the z-axis …" ->Here you need
to mention what is z-axis? As you have already mention HX, CS frame. So
you must mention how do you assign z-axis in the spin-alignment
analysis? ”
Answer:
I provide an explanation for the frame located on the z-axis, and the definition for the z-axis can be found on line 68.
Thank you very much for your nice comment.

Best,
Dandan

Dear Dandan,

Thank you very much for the updated version.
I only have two minor follow-up comments:
  - L26, L28: Psi(2s) --> should be $\psi(2s)$  (my mistake, it should be the same as J/psi's psi).
  - L140: This results ... [4]. --> This result is in good agreement with the STAR measurement within uncertainties in p+p collisions at sqrt(sNN) = 200 GeV [4].

Cheers,
Yi

Dear Dandan,

Thank you so much for the nice proceedings. I have some minor comments for your consideration.
 - Abstract: The abstract is a bit too long to me, but it is up to you.
 - L7: quark-gluon plasma --> Quark-Gluon Plasma (to be consistent with L10)
 - L7: In this talk, we will present --> In this proceedings, we present
 - L17: proton-proton --> proton+proton (p+p)
 - L18: polarization parameters --> polarization values  (better?)
 - L19 - L23: I would slightly modify it to "However, experimental measurements are more complex due to the feed-down contribution, which accounts for about 40% of the observed / yield, and it can have an impact on the polarization of / meson [1]. Up to date, no significant polarization for inclusive / has been observed in p+p collisions at sqrt(NN) = 200 GeV [4]."  Again, it is up to you.
             * It would be great to mention the p+p and Pb+Pb results from LHC.
 - L24: One the one hand --> On the one hand,
 - L26: phi(2S) --> Psi(2S)   (the symbol is wrong)
 - L28: RHIC-STAR --> the STAR
 - L28: phi(2S) --> Psi(2S)   (the symbol is wrong)
 - L35-37: I would remove "Consequently, ... studying the QGP." and move "The coalesced J/psi ... and lower collisions energy" to there. So the new paragraph will start with "Measuring the J/psi spin..."
 - L48: You use "("polarization")" after lambda_theta, are you trying to say that only lambda_theta refers to polarization? I actually would remove it.
 - Eq. 2: missed a period at the end.
 - L89: Mix-event --> mix-event   (do you need "M" in capital?)
 - L113: It would be good to mention that this method is already used in the published result and add the reference.
 - L131: remove "as a function of the transverse momentum"
 - L135: "The values of lambad_inv... " seems to be a bit repeated, since all three are consistent zero, but I know why you want to put it here. :-)
 - L136: pp --> p+p
 - Figure 2 Caption: 10GeV/c --> 10 GeV/c
 - Figure 3 Caption: 200GeV --> 200 GeV
 - L139: Figure 3 --> Fig. 3
 - L139: LambdaTheta --> Lambda_theta
 - L144: Figure 4 --> Fig. 4

Cheers,
Yi
