Hello Rongrong and all,

Unfortunately, I could not join the last hp-pwg meeting.
I listened recordings.
Other PAs can comment and suggest on it based on their requirement.
Here is my suggestion for pp run24.

On your proposed trigger slide:
1) For Run24 p+p 200 GeV, I would propose to select "BHT1*BBCMB" or "BBHT1*VPD100" with threshold 11.
Because we have previous data set with similar trigger detector condition. Better to keep similar condition this year too.

If anyone wants to have with EPD that is fine, then they should have certain plan. please let us know.

2) same for BHT2*BBCMB with 18 threshold

3) For L2gamma, we are going to set Threshold 25 (5.9 GeV). then "BHT3 * L2Gamma" would be preferable (pre-scale 1 definitely)
For our gamma/pi0 analysis, we don't go below 7 GeV offline trigger for analysis. So that is fine.
Beside, for pp run, I think we should take also low lumi data with BSMD; and without switching on/off though out the run (if possible).
I am discussing with Oleg and Lijuan to know their suggestion.

Question:
Do we plan to take BHT1/2 trigger data during low lumi pp run? I prefer to use BHT1*BBCMB, BHT1*VPD100, and BHT2*BBCMB also. We may come up with some physics for future analysis with high lumi pp data.

Thank you
Nihar

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone for a great Collaboration Meeting from the Hard
Probes side with a lot of exciting updates and progress, and helpful
discussions. I hope those of you who attended in person had safe
travels back home.
We will have our regular HP-PWG meeting this Thursday (March 28) at
10 AM EDT.
So please let us know if you want to present and discuss your
analysis or any other business.
Please also send your presentation slides a few hours before the
meeting.
