Hello Brennan and all
I noticed that there might be some confusion among us. Sometimes, the acceptance of TOF is written as |eta| < 1, while at other times, it's |eta| < 0.9.
In the proposal for the TOF detector, I found that the specified acceptance for TOF is |eta| < 0.9.

During the analysis process, the Vertex Vz and the acceptance are correlated. Some analyses have a relatively wide Vz range, combined with specific decay kinematics, which allows the use of the TOF detector even when the charged particle tracks are at eta > 0.9 or eta < -1.
However, from the perspective of the STAR experimental setup, the TOF acceptance is indeed |eta| < 0.9.

Hi. With time limits pressing, does anyone know specifically what the
STAR-BTOF eta range is? Is it just 1.0 like the TPC of 2017?
best, and thanks in advance,
