Hello All
Here are the minutes for today's meeting.
1) Status at BNL
- STAR and RHIC were shut down on Friday afternoon due to ongoing corona virus outbreak. Turning off TOF and eTOF went smoothly.
- Nitrogen is being flown into MTD, TOF and eTOF.
- Flowing Nitrogen to MTD has been turned on some time ago since MTD was not participating in the data-taking this year. This needed some cabling work from Alexi. However, Geary/Rongrong were not aware of this work had been done until some time later. The communication between operation team and sub-detector experts can be improved.
- Summer shutdown plan:
MTD:
-- BL 30: no flow gas. Experts are needed to diagnose the cause. The MTD group can provide any help needed.
-- BL 3-3: no HV even though it is connected to the HV distribution panel. We will check the cable connection.
-- BL 3-5: high noise rate which could be related to gas quality. We will reserve the gas flow to see if the situation improves.

TOF: there are 9 non-working TOF trays:
-- 102 needs POS HV. Its been out since 2010. It might be fixed with some effort.
-- 24 needs NEG HV. It can be fixed.
-- 8,22,48,67,88,101,119: we will try to fix the THUB end first. If that fails, trays 88 and 22 are near the bottom and can likely be removed. 101 is behind the TPC support and can't be removed. We'll have to decide what if anything can be done to access the other trays.

2) offline
- TOF status table for Run18 has been uploaded to the database, which will be used for simulation and when enabled matching to TPC tracks for vertex ranking calculation.
- TOF resolutions are ready from calibration, but Zaochen will need to get familiar with the table structure in the database in order to prepare the table. These resolution tables will be used in the simulation.
