Thanks for sharing your slides. 

I went through the fits, and do not see any significant issues. However, there are some bins where the fits do not work very well. I suggest you plot chi2/NDF as a function of cos(theta) and phi in different pt and centrality bins. If you see an outlier, you can tune the fitting specifically for that bin (e.g. different background shape, different fitting range, etc) to improve the fit quality. 

Currently, the most significant signal you see is the Lambda_theta in HX frame for 0-80%, 2 < pt < 3 GeV/c bin. Could you compare the raw J/psi counts vs. cos(theta) for this bin with: i) your default fitting; ii) bin-counting method; iii) fitting unlike-sign distribution directly without subtracting mixed-event background? This can tell us the robustness of your signal extraction procedure. 

I am still puzzled by the apparent inconsistency between the pt and centrality dependence results, as shown on your first backup slide. Could you do the following exercise? Sum up the extracted polarization parameters over pt or centrality, with 1/stat_err^2 as weights, and compare them to the values extracted directly from the integrated bin (0-80%, 0.2-10 GeV/c). Could you also do this exercise for raw Jpsi counts? This time, you can just sum up the yields without any weights.
