Hello QA-board,

This week (and next week’s) QA board meeting will overlap with the RHIC/AGS
Users’s Meeting (and APS Fall meeting, resp.). Insead of a meeting, please
post to and/or follow-up on any QA items.

Specifically, Yingjie has posted an update on her comparison between the
SL18c and SL20c-based 54GeV productions.

Her slides can be found here [1] and in addition to ratios now shows absolute
differences in (normalized) yields for a number of observables. While most
differences are identifical to zero, she does show that for primary track pt,
eta, nHitsfit, nHitsPoss, and nHitsdEdx some differences exist that should
probably be understood before proceeding with the removal of the older
dataset.

Yingjie, thank you for your update. Can you remind me what we are to learn
from slides 16-18? I see a single data point (run-index) per histogram. Are
data for the other run indices outside the range of the y-axis?

Also, to help us better appreciate what we see, can somebody summarize
between SL18c and SL20c?

Thanks,

-Frank
