Hi

I spend some time looking at the runs given by Ben and Chenliang as 
having dE/Dx jumps.
The correct correlation is not with any pedestal runs, but whether the 
HV on the anode had to be turned up immediately before the runs after 
having been off either for a long or short time. There were runs w/o 
pedestal runs before and not.

I do not know enough about have dE/dx is calibrated. but Yuri could 
answer if there is
a correction due to anode currents?

Secondly I do not have a good understanding how big this change reported 
is relative to a nsigma of one.
