Rosi, all,

 

Looking at the FastOffline MuDst that Gene produced, I saw FCS and FST information but not sTGC. I do not know if QA procedure has been updated, my guess is it hasn’t yet.

Hi Kong and STAR-ops,

I haven't been paying attention lately, but I had thought that the forward detectors weren't incorporated into the MuDsts/picoDsts, which I believe is what the QA team is using for their analyses.  Or has this changed and we simply haven't updated our QA procedures yet?

• RHIC Schedule

 

This week transverse stochastic cooling (one plane each for both blue and yellow).

toward 2x10^9 per bunch, 56x56 will be regular. 

Physics all week until Monday, however,

• No beam: Fri-Sun, 9pm-2am
• Next week, Mon: 1kHz, Tu: 3kHz, Wed: 5kHz leveling at sPHENIX, but normal rate at STAR.

Monday 3-5pm, tour at STAR control room, guided by Lijuan and Jamie.

06/14 APEX.

 

• STAR status

• zdc_mb = 1.08B, 226 hours of running time. (~+90M since yesterday)
• Three magnet tripped over the last ~16 hours!
• STAR chiller ready on Tuesday.

 

• Plans

• Will be running half-field.
• TOF: change or swap a cable to a different port. Tim can go in Sunday night 9pm-2am during no beam downtime. Geary will be monitor/check.

Tim: check NW THUB if it is on local clock mode.

• David: if half-field running, will look into the alarm handler.
• sTGC group needs to come up with a plan. QA team needs to look into forward detectors.
