I looked at the 3 runs reported by Lanny on slide 3 as having sDCA oddities:

24171010: there was a jump in luminosity (as Flemming already noted) mid-run,
so hopefully this will be appropriately corrected when a good SpaceCharge
calibration is in place

24174005 and 24172014: no features in the RICH scalers, neither in the
database nor in the DAQ files, so this was not the explanation....
...but I believe I understand nevertheless....
The histogram points where sDCA is ~-0.5 cm and error bars are small are from
events within st_physics files. The histogram points where sDCA is closer to
zero and spread about with larger errors are from events within
st_physics_adc files. Those st_physics_adc files are missing their inner TPC
sector hits, as Lanny also reported on slide 2. Without inner TPC hits on the
tracks, they are much less well constrained and have e larger spread in their
projection back to the primary vertex, which itself is also less well
constrained by these shorter tracks. The result is a broader sDCA
distribution whose mean is closer to zero.

So this effect is an artifact of the un-reconstructed inner TPC hits this
past week from the offline cluster finder used for st_physics_adc files.

Thanks for catching this, Lanny. Hopefully the offline cluster reconstruction
problem is resolved soon.
