STAR task force for evaluating tracking efficiency uncertainty

Hi Egor,
I have been following along your nice GMT how-to manual from /direct/star+u/gnigmat/soft/u/alpatov/GMTdoc/gmt/manual and have been putting the results in /gpfs/mnt/gpfs01/star/pwg_tasks/TF_TrkEff/gmt_qa/ds/manual_dev2. I have been trying to follow along exactly, so that I can compare to the previously produced results.

The submission of /star/u/djs232/gmt/manual_dev2/ProcDir/daq_2014AuAu15GMT.xml appeared to work ok. It generated 1240 jobs in condor, two of which hung indefinitely and had error lines in their log files, so I manually terminated them. Another 48 of the output jobs are largely empty and fail in the macros as “file has been made a Zombie”.

When running the TDraw.C+ macro, I found that the fitdata for all odd, barrels was empty, which generated the corresponding results, which do not matched those of the manual:

I’ll be out of town for a few days, but will look into this more come Monday.
