== Hardware

— working on two sets of readouts 

— tomorrow Bill will likely be done with survey tool

— Alexei will then start working around TPC surfaces

— if all is well, may ask for survey next week

== Electronics

— nothing new reported this week

== Software

— some discussion with Rice group in software meeting about observed dE/dx differences

— a student/postdoc at Dubna is doing study in 7.7 GeV 

— Yuri sees 10-15% improvement with new dE/dx method

— currently does not see same effect as Rice group observed

— work on dE/dx continuing

— checking into reported differences between online and offline cluster finder (reconstruction in real data and reconstruction of real tracks in embedding process)

— noted about 2 years ago by Yuri

— Tommy did comparisons between 2019 library offline cluster finder and new one 

— differences due to lost clusters near sector edges (number of lost clusters increased by factor ~3)

— about 3% of tracks lost between embedding and production

— Tommy will post link to new comparisons of new cluster finder production and embedding production as soon as ready
