Present: Alexei, Flemming, Tommy, Yuri, Gene, and myself

== Hardware
— email came from power supply company, they received PO
— will start to build spare PS (~1 month)
— new 6-pack of methane
— DV seems to be coming back to normal
— have about 40 days of gas
— trying to understand why some 6-packs are “bad” (affect DV) and others are okay
— Alexei trying to compare with reference gas from a small bottle he has
— has located a gas chromatography group at the lab and will ask about doing comparison work

== Electronics
— system is behaving well with low intensity beams
— full system has been included for about 2 weeks
— with saturated minbias ZDC rate is ~13 kHz
— can record at ~4.2 kHz in those conditions

== Software
— Gene wants to look for distortions due to increase in gated grid rate
— SC & GL for d+Au 200 is a high priority for working groups
— Babu is currently very busy with thesis work but can likely wrap-up soon
— other priority is AuAu 17.3 GeV calibrations
— Gene started on it yesterday, through one iteration so far
— hope is to finish in next few days
— will then do calibration production for dE/dx and bToF
— Run 22 pp500 is the other activity for calibrations
— Richard from Temple is getting started there
— Flemming mention the beam line into STAR has moved by a couple millimeters in past few days
— Gene will look at impacts from that
— Irakli is continuing alignment work
— results using DAQ file and event files are different
— DAQ files are not ordered by event number but event files are
— Yuri does not find significant differences when reading event files in same order as events were collected (order in DAQ file)
— Tommy estimated SC from files
— also compared PV reconstruction from east and west individually, there is a difference
— plots are attached to previous TPC meeting agenda
— Yuri believes the result is an overestimated efficiency
— may be a reproduction of 2019 and 2020 FXT, Gene may try to reproduce the calibration to remove the problem
— problem will still exist in P21ib
— Gene will look into comparing with work previously done by Irakli
— if there is a difference we may need to include the correction for the reproduction
— Yuri still looking into combined PID

== AOB
— Pull requests from Yuri and others are taking extremely long to be approved due to requiring two independent approvers
— TPC group will request that either Richard W. be added as an approver for pull requests on TPC software, or the requirement be reduced to one approver
— Richard will follow-up with Frank on this

Best Regards,
  Richard
