TPC meeting April 3, 2024

Hardware:
Taking cosmics in FF configuration. To prepare for shutdown, and fix 
magnet issues. Continue to take data until Thursday at 8 pm. Alexei with 
start N2 flowing and be present until mixture is below 7% and the blue 
sheet can be signed. Was completed at ~2 am.
A/C in gas room. One unit repaired, one more to go. Needed for summer 
operation
A?C in hall not working.
Magnet will be switched back to RFF for CAD crew to make sure it is 
ready for running.
Electronics:
Noise still shows up in sector 3 and 4. Usually fixed by taking pedestal 
Tonko promised at 10 o’clock meeting to look more into this in coming 
week. Some observations
a)	Shows up in all time bins (in charge step plots. Also peak at mid 
value.
b)      Some up in all pads integrated over a run.
c)      Does not show up in all events
d)      Shows up in adcs and clusters.
Software:
Yuri looked at some of the FF data. Sees that delta(r-phi) change from 
matching to GMT, in order shy of 2 mm.
Jim/Gene  points out twist effect (mis-alignment of E vs B axis) is not 
included. Yuri says it has been absorbed in alignment since 2012.
Gene says space charge corrections for all BES-II collisions system in 
progress, and includes also auau run 24 data.
