TPC meeting 10/02/2025
present: Jim, Gene, Yuri, Alexei and Flemming. Richard excuses due to 
gov shutdown.
Brief initial discussion on status of break in datataking due to faulty 
yellow abort kicker, and vacuum problem. Beam may be back Sunday late.
Hardware.
TPC took cosmic at ½ Forward field. Total of 30 hours.
Laser good, Gas good. Some issue with Drift velocity at zero filed. Yuri 
is looking into this.
Electronics. No real issue during last week with cosmics.
Software
Yuri has look at all cosmic from this year and summarized results see.

The resolution at 1 GeV/c for pair tracks has dropped for ½ field to 
about 6.6%
The momentum resolution drops from Full to Half magnetic
Fileds by a factor of ~3 due to :
• Reduction of of
field by a factor
2, and• Degradation of
TPC space
resolution by a
factor ~2

AOB
Only data to be calibrated (for TPC) is 1/2F and Full field data.
