== Hardware
— Caen crate has some issue, needed access to recycle power
— has occurred previously and even remote power cycle does not work
— will put a remote hardware power switch
— High humidity is causing issues with the cathode
— humidity sensor on IFC blower indicates ~40% humidity (good)
— only west side TPC flow sensor causes problem
— will adjust sensitivity during next access

== Electronics
— still the usual losses and repairs of RDOs and FEEs

== Software
— sPHENIX had a slide in morning meeting about their space charge corrections
— concerns about fluctuations in shape of their field
— due to variations in multiplicity of collisions
— they have begun using measure of charge deposition in TPC by looking at current from readout (every ms)
— perhaps what they have done could inform any future studies in STAR
— for example, Jeff Landgraf has measurements of event size (data volume), for every event
— Transverse diffusion work
— some issues in RFF for long drift
— reasonable description of transverse diffusion from Magboltz
— need factor 10 more statistics to get for hit error parameterization

== AOB
— No new topics this week

Best Regards,
  Richard
