US ATLAS HL-LHC computing discussion

Hi all,

At the upcoming US ATLAS S&C meeting at SLAC

we have a 90’ slot Wed Aug 29 at 9am Pacific time to talk about exascale for HL-LHC. 

Given the newness and scope of the topic, and the breadth of interest and opinion, and wanting to make the session complementary to the other focus topics, we would like to structure the session as a whiteboard discussion, using a googledoc (and optionally slides) to guide the discussion and serve as live notes.

We have listed topics for discussion with people named to take the lead in preparing/gathering materials for the topic, materials being either bullets in the googledoc and/or linked slides. Discussion leads should be present at the meeting but contributors can be remote.

Comments welcome and input anticipated! Editing is on in the googledoc. Would the proposed topic leads please confirm their willingness to gather material and lead the topic. Everyone should feel free to contribute to any of the topics.
