Hi Torre, Alexei,

SC18 Exhibitions end Nov 15, Thursday, at 3pm.  While some people still run around, collecting swag, on Thursday afternoon, we could probably leave for UTA around lunchtime without missing much.

SC18 Workshops actually continue on Friday, 16th. They run 8:30-noon. Not sure if anyone on this list will attend any of them (there are six workshops in parallel on Friday)?

There are no conflicts with Plenary, BOF, Panel, Tutorial etc after noon Thursday. They all come to an end.

So, potential dates and time for a HL-LHC meeting at UTA: Nov 15, 1-6pm and Nov 16, 9am-5pm. Finding a location in Dallas may be expensive, doing the meeting at UTA would be free. Drive time from SC18 site to UTA around noon is ~25 minutes.

Cheers,

                                                   Kaushik

To be clear (and someone correct me if I have it wrong :-) Nov 15 and/or 16, in Dallas or at UT Arlington

Hi Torre,

Thanks for remembering! I am always happy to host. Either Thurs/Fri before or Thurs/Fri after. Which topics? Cheers,

Hi,
We should start planning our next f2f meeting, and who to invite. In a recent US ATLAS planning meeting we talked about possibly collocating a meeting with SC18, e.g. meeting at UT Arlington the Thu/Fri before SC18, but we should be planning that yesterday if we're serious. And who to ask to come? Beyond the usual suspects it could be CS experts from other labs, CMS, ... thoughts? Thank you Amir for prompting this mail with a small poke ;-)
