Hi Gustaaf,
Thanks. Will implement the suggestions. The dropping of the L2 variance 
reports was at NSF's suggestion at one of our chats (yes they are somewhat 
repeptitive) and they also pointed out that the T&C for the monthly report 
only call for L3 variance reports. Hence I have removed them.

L2s: Can you asked the L3's to make Gustaaf's suggested changes to the 
variance reports, and alert me when they are done. I would like to send a 
draft to NSF today.

Hi Mike, all,

Here is a version with my annotations.

I think it has to be made clear to the L3s that the variance reports are sent 
to NSF, so they may want to think a bit about what they write, and at least 
re-read before clicking.  It's getting better, but we're not quite there yet.
