Hello,

Here are some comments on the January VRs.  These are mostly minor,
except for 6.6.3 where the wrong report was written.  6.8.3 is
problematic for legal reasons.  Maybe we can discuss at noon today.

Best,

Gustaaf

6.4.3: the SV is driven by
BEE10240M Material for sRTM V1 and V1 Test Card V
(curiously, the associated non-M task is dead on schedule and this one
at 0%)
BEE12280M Material (Test Cards) for SRTM FW - TTC
  (idem)
+ a bunch of firmware tasks

=> the VR would really benefit from indicating which are the driving
contributions; reading the current version suggests the NYU part
represents an equal part of the SV, while it's a tiny contribution.

6.5.3: "There was confusion on my part during the BCP discussions that
took place earlier in 2020 that resulted in the Covid-delayed part of
the schedule not being changed at that time. The pre-MREFC phase of the
project is now nearing completion" is not needed.  It's pretty harmless
I think, but in general it's good to limit the VR to the stuff that's
really needed.

6.6.3: I don't think you need "whose salary is around $2k per month. "
(I'm not sure if it's good or bad that it's $2k/month.)  Anyway, the VR
is required for the *positive cost variance* and you talk about a
schedule variance...

6.6.5: suggest to drop "so that ", simplifying => simplify; expendable
=> expandable

6.8.2:
"After the COVID-related BCP, these are scheduled to begin in November
and this design work has already begun." => were scheduled?  Is it
November 2020 or 2021?  I guess 2020, so why say they have already
begun?  They should have...
Yes, it's 2020 and should read "were scheduled to begin in November"

"will limit the hardware integration tests. We decoupled" => will limit
the hardware integration tests, we decoupled"
yes.
