Dear L2 and L2D:

 

We received the following comments on the slew of BCPs we sent in for approval to NSF to bring the RLS up to the rebaseline state.They had a number of comments questions, so please take a look at theattached set of NSF notes  and provide the documentation.

 

Briefly:

• 1055 – just change some wording – PO will do
• 1057a – the spreadsheet PO can do. However they need basis of estimate for the COVID changes so L2s (LAr, Tile, Muon) should provide brief justification for the changes in 1057a
• 1057b – the spreadsheet PO can do.
• 1059 – I have some clarification oabout their wording confusion – this was from Erica. PO will work with NSF to resolve
• 1060 – Tile needs to provide updated quote as backup for LVPS increase
• 1061 – Muon needs to provide backup for the changes on the changes (from the rebaseline review?)

 

The sooner we get this the sooner we can update the RLS.

Dear Mike

 

We discussed the collection of BCPs that you sent us after the rebaseline review. We think all of these should be implemented, as they align well with the topics reviewed and endorsed by the rebaseline review panel.

 

To think some additional information, substantiating how ATLAS determined revised costs and/or schedules, should be included as part of the documentation for many of the BCPs to facilitate a future audit. The attached document is our feedback to you.
