Hi all,

Several members of the PO met with Operations management (Chris Bee, Eric Torrence, John Hobbs) to discuss what is needed for the July M&O scrubbing. They generally agree with the goals/timeline that we discussed at the NSF L2 meeting on April 27:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YBmIOZWIPHLfjCVMYA7AFgCh41YfTOK6s6A2O8iUQWk/edit?usp=sharing
but there are a few clarifications about the detailed goals.

1. We should aim for a total I&I budget (including funding for people in the "gaps" described in point 2) for the current NSF CA (which ends on 31-Jan-2027) of approximately $5M.
    - We'll set targets for individual systems as soon as we understand more concerning point 2.

2. We need a prioritized list of people who will need support during the period between the end of deliverable production and the start of I&I activities by June 14. An estimate of how much support is needed is also important here.

3. Produce more details on I&I activities in FY24 (only in Muons?). The level of detail in the current plan is good enough for later years.
    - a full P6 schedule is *not* required here, but we will need to understand tasks, dependencies, etc.

4. Updated effort and budget estimates should be produced on the timeline given in the google sheet above. The need to include
    - prioritization of activities
    - demonstration that the level of I&I effort is consistent with the US share in a given system
    - short explanation of how the estimates were derived

5. Just a heads up: by the end of CY 2023, we'll need to create a list of I&I risks. We'll need to work out the level of detail required here.

We can discuss this in more detail at the NSF L2 meeting today.

Thanks  -  Hal
