Hi all,

Thanks for the productive discussion at today's NSF L2 meeting. Here is my take on the action items that came out of the meeting. I will need input on all of these by Monday, July 3 at the latest so that I can construct an effective argument for the scubbing.

0. Everyone: look at the docs linked below and point out any errors that I've made in interpreting your data.

1. Everyone: add uncosted effort estimates under the new assumption/policy that any institute receiving I&I funding should also provide a commensurate level of uncosted student and/or postdoc effort.

2. Everyone: add a reasonable level of travel to your I&I estimate

3. Muon: reduce the total request to around $3M

4. LAr: justify the need for expert support in the gap period in terms of what these people would do during that period that would be of benefit to M&O. It will probably also be necessary to reduce the total expert request

5. Trigger: quantify the expected need for gap support of algorithm experts in FY28. Provide some explanation of what the supported individuals would do for M&O.
