Hi

Updated slides have been uploaded to docDB (and consequently the indico agenda).

Emailed P/J/T (cc you) regarding the CSM float calc.

Hello Anyes,

-sl 11: external dependencies for 6.6.3…
It’s there - 1st line - ain’t any

“for” not “on"

-sl 17: what do you mean by “risk mitigation before launching pre-prod”?  Define MDTTP (or maybe better don’t use it, just say L0MDT)
The SM rev and CM prototype v2 have the FDR changes, so there are essentially test pre-production boards.

Changes between prototypes and preproduction are allowed of course.  Anyway, maybe say this rather than just “risk mitigation”?

-sl 27: the 255/241 is for CSM, not L0MDT!!  (See the spreadsheet we sent.)  This may also invalidate your statement on the previous slide about main remaining risks…

I don’t quite understand why we now have 255 wd float for CSM
Last year we had 6 days
We added ~1 yr to account for LS3 date change but we lost 1 yr in pre-production.

Last year CSM needed 239 and had 11.  I also don’t know how the CSM available float is calculated because I see no need-by date.  I lifted the 255 from the schedule file I downloaded from IPD.  There I see:

<Screenshot 2025-06-27 at 19.43.51.png>

And the same is shown in the schedules posted for the review.

Maybe ask the CAM?

Last year the float was computed between these 2 tasks below and we had 11 WD float.
- CSM WS (CSM2790 ) ends on Dec 15 2025
- And CSM2810EX Jan 2 2026

As of May 2025:
- CSM WS (CSM2790 ) ends on June 19 2026
- And CSM2810EX June 19 2026.

According to ATLAS schedule
- MDT Elx for endcap require June 3rd 2026
- MDT Elx for BIL required Nov 2nd 2026
- The Endcap installation starts on mid July 2026

So unless you change the dates on how the float is calculated I don’t understand why this number is now so large.
In the backup p60, I have the detail plans for production batch delivery.

For L0MDT, the 289 wd come from L0MDT5460

Yes, so maybe take that.  L0MDT finishes after CSM anyway.

Best,

Gustaaf

-sl 34: deliverable*s* leverage; the 241 is for CSM, see above; progress has been made
Done
