Hi all,

First I wanted to congratulate Hong and Hao on
this week's successful DR for the DOE scope! The
review went very well, and we are on a good track
for the agency review in July.
On the NSF side, I met with Heidi this
morning while at BNL and made some small last changes
as suggested by Kj to a few U Az travel and M&S
tasks. I also moved, as discussed previously, a
few BE f/w tasks from the preMREFC to the MREFC phase.
That concludes the changes for the NSF BCP that we
have been working on for a very long time. We need now
to get it approved and adopted as the new baseline.
As discussed, Tim and Andy and I need to fill out
the BCP template for our respective L3 area. Heidi
is producing a new diff file (which should only have
changes in BE compared to the last one) to use for
this. Tim has already sent me a draft of
the BCP doc (thanks for that). Andy, please prepare
and send a draft by the end of the weekend (I leave
Monday for Milano, and we need to have things ready
for the CCB on Wed.); you will also need to prepare
slides for your part. Hong should be able to present
the other changes, which are essentially due to
updated quotes only.

We continue in an intense period of reviews.
The P2UG (last week) and DOE DR (this week) are now
behind us. We have helpful suggestions from the DR
review about how to improve our presentations for
the DOE review, that we have to implement. We need to
get the NSF BCP approved and adopted as the baseline,
in advance of freezing the NSF RLS before the upcoming
NSF DR and then the FDR in September. So, we are
doing very well, but have to keep pushing forward!

Regards,
John
