It may be useful to prepare a slide to address the questions on page 6 explicitly.

Also on Slide 10, there is the question of dependency on DOE funding.  Do we have the answer to that ?

Hi John,

Good news, we're on page 6. And specifically he still seems a little unclear on the ASICS in the NSF scope (bullet 2), unless he means the lpGBT? In any case we haven't been successful in either communicating the DOE/NSF boundary, or what the lpGBT/VL+ is and the CERN-centered nature of those projects, or both. And the last bullet on interfaces to global trigger, I don't think we address that at all yet.

Best, Tim

Hi All,

Attached is a presentation that NSF (Mark Coles) will give as the first
talk of the open plenary session of the DR from 9:00am-9:30am July 29.
As indicated in a previous message, we have now confirmed that the
Executive Session on July 29 will be from 8:30am-9:00am. Have a look at
the talk to make sure your talks address the points he believes the FDR
committee and the NSF internal review will be most concerned about.

The plenary session will start at 9:00am, please be sure you are there
before that. There will be coffee/tea/water bagels/sweet rolls/etc that
will be setup at 8am (so probably ready by 8:15am). You should have the
venue information, if not you can find it on the Indico site under
meeting information. Also, if you are attending remotely, the connection
information is also posted.

Mike

Dear Dmitri

Attached is the combined presentation from NSF to the Director’s Review
Panel for the ATLAS HL-LHC FDR.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
