                Feedback from NSF on the DR.

 

                I noted at least a few things that could be relevant to LAr:

 

• Present and document the scientific impact resulting from exercise of descope or upscope options.
• Provide the impacts on science goals of detector over- and under-performance. (NSF expects to see quantitative simulations). (PDR recommendation).
• Provide the definition of the schedule milestone tiers and the basis of assignment.  For example, external milestones under 6.04 are assigned Tier 4, 5, and no Tier and do not appear to be consistently assigned.
• In BOEs, be sure to remove all references to Uncosted labor and replace it with Scientific labor.
