Hi all,

Tim was indeed correct, so we need a L3 variance report for May only from Andy. Unfortunately, I also need to write one at L2, since adding NSF+DOE puts us over the 250k threshold.

Hi John,

I was just looking at the instructions for the variance reports in the slides from Penka that you sent last September (attached).  On slide 6 the thresholds for L3 = ($100k in schedule variance AND +/-10% SPI) OR ($100k in cost variance AND +/-10% CPI). So I go back to the CPR for May and I see that 6.4.1 is under the $100k threshold. So is the FEB2, but unfortunately 6.4.3 is just over $100k in SPI. So I think this means that we only need a variance report for 6.4.3? (sorry Andy). Those slides also seem to indicate that at L2 we are also fine ($250k threshold), so you don't have to do an FPD (whatever that is).

Is this how you read it too? Obviously by next month we'll all be over all the thresholds.

Best, Tim

Yes, you need to use BNL VPN to submit the variance reports.
