Dear NSF L2s and Deputy L2s,
In preparation for the *NSF re-baseline review*, we will hold our quarterly *NSF risk workshop* during the CCB meeting on *Tuesday, January 31*. We will cover all systems in one meeting (~10 min per subsystem) and the agenda will be circulated soon.
As usual, please prepare slides covering:
* Changes in risks since the last risk review (especially those that
can be retired);
* Updated task affected (to make sure it remains in the future);
o In particular, *if you list multiple tasks affected* include a
clear description of how to treat this in the simulation. I.e.,
the risk should hit both tasks listed simultaneously (rare), or
a chain of tasks is listed as a reminder but only the first
should be considered in the simulation;
* Update comments to clearly describe how the cost/duration
uncertainties are arrived at;
* Potential changes to risks before the upcoming review, e.g.:
o changes to probability/impact of existing risks due to upcoming
technical reviews;
o existing risks that could be realized or that need to be watched
carefully;
o risks that might be retired.
The current risk register in docDB is v75, and the supply chain risk register is v7:

*Please look over both* in preparation for the workshop. After the workshop, please send Chris an updated version of the excel spreadsheet with your changes highlighted.
Any issues, please let us know.
- Your friendly PO
