DOE CAMs,

According to the BNL EVMS description we are supposed to perform a 
comprehensive or bottom-up Estimate at Completion (EAC) every year.

EAC forecasts the project cost while the project is in progress. Unlike 
BAC, EAC takes into account variables like unplanned costs and 
inaccurate or obsolete previous estimates.

EAC is a separate field in P6 and Cobra.

We have prepared spreadsheets for each subsystem that are similar to the 
status sheets. The not-started activities with baseline start date after 
April 1, 2024 included.

Please review the activities for your subsystem and if needed, provide 
update to the start/finish dates and labor hours/material cost in 
columns M, N and R. Column T will calculate the increased/decreased cost 
due to EAC. Please also indicate in column U (Comments) if you are 
planning a BCP to implement the change and approximately when, e.g. BCP 
planned for October 2024.

If you need to add new work packages they should go in the bottom 
preferably at a summary level. Remember this is not a BCP spreadsheet, 
no need for details, just a rough timeframe and cost estimate.

We will evaluate the updates and if there are substantial changes we may 
decide to implement a BCP in addition to the forecast.

Please complete the EAC update by Monday, April 22.
