    this Tuesday, August 13.  Details, including the zoom link, are
    provided in the first email appended below. *Please arrange your
    schedule to attend.
 2. We have reserved a slot on OPA’s calendar for *the next DOE IPR to
    be held during the week of March 24, 2025*.  Details may be found in
    the second email below.  If you have any questions or problems
    associated with this date, please contact your Level 2

We hope things are well with you all, and that you’re enjoying your summer.

A number of developments continue to result in an increased level of 
oversight we in the Project Office are experiencing.  Among them -- 
 tightening US and global budgets; the cost and schedule impacts 
resulting from resolving technical challenges and absorbing 
international delays; CERN’s reconsideration of the LS3 schedule; etc.  
We are also aware that some of these impacts are beginning to be felt by 
many of you.  We expect these trends to continue in the near future.

*The PO has put aside the regular Change Control Board (CCB) meeting 
slot on Tuesday, August 13, at 1pm eastern to discuss what this means to 
us* -- in particular, the significance of maintaining technical momentum 
and progress, and of owning and promptly providing all requested 
information for monthly reporting.

Please try to arrange your schedule to attend, and mark your calendars 
-- we will send out a reminder.  We’ve provided a zoom link below.  Any 
outstanding questions, please let us know --

I’ve reserved the week of March 24, 2025 on the OPA calendar for the 
next DOE IPR review.  (Just FYI, the following week -- 31 Mar - Apr 4 -- 
is Atlas Upgrade Week.). It will be held at Brookhaven -- as before, 
principally in person, with provisions made for remote attendance under 
unique or special circumstances.  One should assume a three day review, 
usually held on Tue-Thu, but there might be some room to negotiate the 
precise days.

Please let me know your availability for that week --
