Hello all,

    As we reach the end of 2025, I wanted to write to thank all of you 
for all your hard work over the past year, and to wish you and your 
friends and family best wishes for 2026!
    As a team, we have collectively faced a number of challenges during 
2025. Looking back at where we were a year ago, we can definitely 
appreciate that, as a result of everyone's efforts, we have made very 
significant progress on all fronts.  Everyone should take pride and 
satisfaction in that progress!  I hope during the holiday period you 
have been enjoying some downtime, and opportunity to recharge.

    Of course, 2026 will no doubt bring a new set of challenges to 
face, which is, after all, what makes our work so interesting.  Given 
some urgent things going on, I would suggest to hold our regular weekly 
meeting this Friday (Jan. 2) at the usual time (12:30 NY time), for 
those that are available. The indico page is at 
https://indico.bnl.gov/event/31018 .  Of course, if you are not free this 
Friday, that is perfectly fine, and we will reconnect later.
