Dear DOE L2Ms/Deputies —

Attached, please find the formal notice from BNL for the May Director’s 
Review.  The charge is attached, as is the final committee.  Note that 
the LAr reviewer listed (Los) is unable to attend — Ted Liu will take 
his place.  Also note that all final review material is to be posted for 
the committee one week before the review.

An agenda will be circulated soon — for planning purposes, the agenda 
from the March 2025 IPR can be used as a guide.  It will be very 
similar.  For convenience, it can be found at the url below.

In the meantime, if there are any issues or questions, please let us know --

Please, find attached the charge for the coming May 19-21, 2026 US ATLAS 
HL-LHC Upgrade Director’s review.

Giorgio Apollinari will be the Chair of the review committee and the 
full list of the reviewers is attached to this mail.

As usually, we expect the project to provide documentation and 
presentations to the review committee a week before the review.
