    I'm behind on getting out minutes from the eRHIC IR mtgs, and will 
be working to get them out for the past few meetings. Below please find 
the minutes from our last meeting, held on June 30th.

        Minutes for the eRHIC IR meeting held on June 30, 2017.

* We started the meeting with a presentation by Brett:
    - Brett found that there was an interference between the IR magnet 
design, and a rotator magnet in the ring lattice.
    - To alleviate this interference he moved some of the IR magnets 
forward.
    - This represented the minimal change.
    - There was some general discussion about a central beam pipe slide 
in the presentation.
    - Idea presented that could lead to a "Fast Track" for Quadrupole R&D:
          - could perhaps use some parts from an existing LARP R&D magnet.
    - End of presentation.
* A discussion about Bob's talk from the eRHIC meeting the day before 
(June 29th).
    - Use a permanent magnet to provide some shielding. Describes a 
magnet design by Brett & Holger.
    - These magnets could be tapered.
    - Fields for the low electron energy running get as low as 1 Tesla.
* Holger & Elke will iterate on getting drawings showing the geometry 
for use in the simulations.
* New insights indicate that one can have simultaneous collisions at 
6:00 and 8:00.
* Restate that the Yellow ring will be used for the hadron beam.
* Dejan points out that Guillaume is now ready to start matching the IR 
into the ring lattice.
* Brief discussion about possible schedule conflicts between sPHENIX and 
eRHIC.
* Need an impedance calculation for the central beam pipe.
* Next meeting will be in three weeks (July 21st)
    Agenda:
      - Update on the geometry definition for the simulations
      - Presentation by Bob on the parameter sets, including the new 
parameter set.
