Elke,

I have a table ready for the 275 GeV hadron lattice, the only setting readily available. I will circulate it as soon as I’m in. Do you absolutely need the file to be in “Palmer” format, like the one you had sent around previously?

Best,

Guillaume

Dear Elke,

yes, the parameter set 5.1 is what is being used for the pCDR. No plans to change it before the April review (except some RF system parameters).

Dear All,

so here is the summary of what  we need to make progress  on the acceptance simulations, the synchrotron simulations and the impedance calculations.
For both of the electron and the hadron beam we need the beam parameters, i.e. emittance, divergence, beta - functions and so on.
It would be really good if this would be the parameters which are frozen for the pre-CDR.

We got the following table from Vadim, is this the latest?

Charles needs for his simulations and design  the following  info
- the information on the ‘bucking’ coils for Q0Fe should be included in the table.
- the beta functions at 5, 5.6, 6.2, 8.7, 10.5 and 15m from the IP on the hadron forward side for 5, 10 and 18 GeV rings.
the quad strengths (Q0Fe and Q1Fe) for the 5 and 10 GeV rings
- shape of magnet aperture if not round

- for the simulations we need the magnets for both the hadron and electron beams in a format as attached, any divergence
from this will mean there are no simulations for the pre-CDR

We need the B0 dimensions to see we can install detectors of which dimensions and what number

and it would be good to have the info on the crab-cavities, like a function how the bunch is rotated or so.

Cheers and thanks for providing the info
