these are the minutes of our Ir Meeting on September 7.

We had a relative short meeting. We first discussed about the current situation

- Doug and Stephen T. have found a way to fit all in the tunnel, this means we have the following situation

  - 25mrad crossing angle

  - rotate the IR

  - move the IP 1m towards the ring inside

Bob asked if a bigger chicane in the outgoing electron beam would help

—> answer yes, for the acceptance of the low Q2 tagger

we also discussed that maybe the new layout will allow to have more space between the Roman Pots and the ZDC, which is something physics would benefit from.

It was reiterated that for physics it is really a disadvantage to have the IR magnets inside the detector volume.

Holger gave a presentation about the Q1APF, see attachment.

Agenda items for the next meeting:

- update by Bob

- Stephen T. and Doug should give an update on their efforts to fir everything in to the tunnel and the consequences on the magnets in the IR
