Dear All,
     There are a few scheduling conflicts that will likely limit 
attendance at today's IR Design meeting. There is a Seminar in Physics 
starting a 2 pm on the event generator Pythia, and in particular recent 
extensions to the code to include electron - Heavy Ion interactions 
(i.e. EIC Physics). Pythia is a key component of the EIC physics 
simulation effort, and I'm fairly certain some members of our group plan 
to attend this. I have a conflict at 3:30 pm, and then there is the 
Employee Award Ceremony in Berkner starting at 4 pm, where Elke will be 
receiving a Science award.
     I suggest that we meet at the usual 2:30 pm starting time. I'll try 
to take detailed enough minutes to transmit whatever is discussed to the 
rest of the group.
     From Elke's minutes of the meeting on September 7th, the Draft 
Agenda for today's meeting includes:
     - An Update by Bob
     - An update by Stephen T. and Doug on their efforts to fit 
everything in the tunnel, and any consequences on the magnets in the IR.
