I think I know the answer. I looked in the wrong place since the slide says 500m at s=40m, but that's (hopefully) not where the crabs live. The correct number is 1200m around s=50m, which is what we had before.

Is there a chance to raise the horizontal beta at through the crab cavities by a significant factor? Right now we would need 22MV of crab voltage for a full crossing angle of 25mrad, which seems pretty high.

For this afternoon: Version 8a upgraded slides from v7 with corrections and text files of magnet parameters

Nothing significant has changed. The betas for each case are now tuned to better match the pCDR lattices from Steve and Guillaume.
